CHATTANOOGA, TN. — October 28, 2026 — REPOWR, the logistics platform for accessible, optimized trailer capacity, earned a #10 spot on FreightWaves’ 2027 FreightTech 25, marking the company's second consecutive year among the most innovative companies in freight technology.

REPOWR moved up from #12 on the 2026 FreightTech 25, continuing its momentum as the company expands beyond its nationwide trailer-sharing marketplace with technology designed to help fleets actively manage and optimize trailer networks.

The FreightTech 25 is selected from the FreightTech 100, FreightWaves' annual list of companies driving innovation across freight and supply chain technology. An independent panel of more than 80 industry executives ranks the FreightTech 100 to determine the top 25, with voting independently overseen by accounting firm Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough.

“To make the FreightTech 25 once is an incredible honor. To come back a year later and move up the list means even more because of what our team has built in between,” said Chris Hines, CEO of REPOWR. “We started REPOWR with the belief that the industry didn't necessarily need more trailers, it needed a better way to use the trailers it already had. Today, we're taking that idea even further by giving fleets the technology to identify imbalances, reposition equipment, and turn idle trailers into productive assets.”

From Trailer Sharing to Trailer Optimization

REPOWR's second consecutive FreightTech 25 recognition follows a significant year of product development and expansion.

In 2026, REPOWR launched its Trailer Optimization Platform (TOP), technology designed to help fleets identify trailer imbalances across their networks and turn those insights into action. TOP combines fleet data, telematics, and REPOWR's marketplace network to help operators determine where equipment is needed and create opportunities to reposition trailers productively.

The platform builds on REPOWR's nationwide marketplace, which connects carriers, brokers, shippers, leasing companies, OEMs, and other equipment owners, making underutilized trailers accessible to the freight network.

The result is a model designed around a simple idea: equipment should be as flexible as freight itself.

“We've spent years building the network that makes trailer sharing possible. Now we're using that network, our data, and technology to solve a much larger problem,” Hines continued. “Visibility can tell a fleet where its trailers are. Optimization helps determine where those trailers should be and how to get them there. That's the future we're building.”

Recognition in a Rapidly Changing FreightTech Market

The 2027 FreightTech 25 was announced at FreightWaves' F3 Awards Dinner in Chattanooga on October 26.

This year's list reflects a freight technology market increasingly focused on solving tangible operational problems. FreightWaves highlighted fraud prevention, AI automation, and autonomous trucking among the major themes represented in the 2027 rankings.

REPOWR's inclusion also puts trailer utilization and underused equipment alongside some of the industry's most pressing technology challenges.

The recognition follows REPOWR's selection to the 2027 FreightTech 100 in September. More than half of this year's FreightTech 100 companies were not included on the previous year's list, and FreightWaves reported a record number of nominations for the 2027 awards.

For REPOWR, back-to-back FreightTech 25 recognition reinforces a mission that has remained consistent as its technology has evolved: eliminate waste and inefficiency in logistics by bringing visibility and value to underutilized transportation equipment.

“There's still an enormous amount of value sitting idle in this industry,” said Hines. “Every trailer sitting in the wrong market or waiting for its next move represents an opportunity. We're proud that the industry continues to recognize what we're building, but we're even more excited about how much of this problem there still is to solve.”
